Isaac Rienhold Foy

Isaac,

You are already a month old.  I cannot believe it!  You were born at 10:34 at night on January 26, 2012.  You were a whopping 10lbs 10oz  and 22 inches long at birth.  It was amazing.  I am going to write your birth story soon before I forget all the details.

Your big brother is totally in love with you.  Be brought you a puppy at the hospital and wanted to hold you right away, and wants to hold you, look at you, kiss you and hold your hand all day, everyday.  He asks if you can go play with him in the park, and at the beach, and at school.  He brings you toys and puts them on you or by you and tells me emphatically "no touch, for Isaac".  I was nervous about how your arrival would impact him but I am so happy that he loves you so much.  I am sure that will change when you eat his puzzles and break his Lego creations, but for now, its a big love fest of brothers.
You are totally different from how Lincoln was as a baby.  I didnt expect that!  You want to eat all the time and are super aware of the world, and have been from day one.  You want to sleep on your side or tummy, and you only poop once a day.  I am sure that when you read this when you are 20 you will groan - but right now its important to record that fact!

You have cradle cap on you whole face and head, you love a bath, and you smiled at me for the first time a few days ago.  It made my whole world light up!
You love to cuddle with and sleep on your Daddy.  You two are buddies and cuddle in the evening and let Mama sleep a little.  This is important because you only sleep about 2 hours at most right now.  Daddy sleeps in the guest room because he has to go to work, so its just you and me in the night and you are such a little cuddle bunny.

I got newborn pictures taken of you, and your brother.  I always wished I had done that with Lincoln.  You decided to be awake and angry most of the time but Becky still got some great pictures of you and your brother.  I think you are already starting to look like Lincoln a little, but with your Great Granddad's hairline.  On Friday before your 1 month birthday, you weighed 13 lbs and 9oz - your doc said you are a good eater and don't I know it!!

I'm also already planning your outfit for Easter.  I am so excited to dress you and Linc up in matching adorable preppy outfits!  I love you little guy, and am so happy you are here.  Our family is so much more complete with your arrival...

All my love,
Mama

Hi there! Blog stalker here. Hopped over from Dina's blog because I saw your son's name on her sidebar. I'm guessing Rienhold is a family name? My grandmother was a Rienhold from Chicago & i was wondering if there might be a relation? Thanks! And those are some pretty cute boys you've got there!
